“Words I Cannot Spell” is a photo series taken a few years ago as I walked through the stacks of sign letters collected and sold by Hunt and Gather Antiques. The jumble of letters stacked on top of one another in the shop’s back lot reminded me of what I experienced when first confronted by a long series of letters that are comprised in most text. I experience apprehension of comprehension. The gallery on this page is a body of work that I feel comprises my experience with dyslexia.
