Hi, my name is William Hendricks. I'm an artist, educator, and member of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers).
My work moves between drawing, painting, photography, digital media, and virtual environments. Much of it explores identity, perception, memory, and the ways we construct meaning from experience.
After years spent teaching and working in technology, I returned to the studio and began asking many of the same questions that first led me to art. ArtChangesLives.com has become a place to share that ongoing process through studio work, walking reflections, photographs, digital experiments, and occasional essays.
Mostly, this site is a record of ongoing work.
