Walking Reflections

“Becoming is superior to being.”
― Paul Klee

Abstract black-and-white drawing filled with symbolic marks, looping lines, geometric forms, arrows, and maze-like patterns exploring thought, language, and the process of making meaning.

Walking Reflections are short writings created while moving through the world — often while walking, traveling, waiting, observing, or thinking through the work of being an artist and a human being.

Some begin with an image. Some begin with a question. Some are fragments that later grow into studio work, conversations, or longer pieces of writing.

Mostly, they are records of attention.
