I have been experimenting with shadows, silhouettes and back-lighting for some time. Lately I am looking to abstract the world around us while emphasizing the basic elements and principles of design. This image represents a series of images I took on the 29th. I am still studying the results of my shoot before uploading the balance. I am well acquainted with Photoshop but I am reluctant to use it to enhance my images. For me, there is a honesty that I seek to present and Photoshop would spoil the integrity of the exploration.

What’s on the agenda? Well, it is going to start by walking on the treadmill for about 40 minutes. Then maybe a walk around the lake. As I am getting closer to the finish of summer session, I am thinking about heading to D.C. to visit Steven and Steven. We are approaching the 4th and am looking forward to fireworks.

Yesterday, had a very nice breakfast with Bill and Tom at Sunset. It was a beautiful day. Lake Minnetonka was calm and lots of ppl out for the day enjoying the day. I was at the Pride celebration. It was packed… and so youthful. Enjoyed the bike ride down and back home…. took the long way home around Calhoun.
